Jack J Hanna was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1945 and has spent a lifetime in public service, law enforcement, and community leadership.

In high school, he started serving the community as an apprentice in a local funeral home and later graduated from Indiana College of Mortuary Science. Soon after he graduated from Indiana University with his degree in Criminal Justice.

He has served his country in the United States Air Force as a medic and a basic training instructor. Following his service he returned home to continue serving the community as a police officer, state investigator, city councilor, and advocate for veterans and public safety.

Jack has been married for 44 years and has four children and four lovely grandchildren.

Having all that, he has now decided to write books to fill his retirement days.
